I love hearing from customers and partners, but there's something special about talking to prospects who have no preconceived notions about our product. Their honest, non-biased reactions are gold.
Alongside the script, I always ask some of these to get a broader picture (I find it very helpful!):
1. [Organisational environment] Tell me about your company, your role, and how decisions get made.
2. [Tech context and competitors] What tech tools are you using? Is there anything new lately?
3. [Business context] What's top of mind for your business right now? Are there any big hurdles?
4. [Market view] What market trends have caught your attention?
These questions unpack interesting insights and patterns.
